This blog is about the Autodesk sketching and painting software called Sketchook Pro.  I focus mostly on the Windows desktop version, rather than the versions available for mobile devices and pads.  The focus is on useful freebies such as brush sets, clear new tutorials, and — of course — on really great art made with Sketchbook.

Your author and curator is a veteran blogger and a long-time creative. In the past decade I’ve been chasing the dream of 3D art, on which I blog over at the MyClone blog. Now I also have a hankering to get back into 2D, now that the digital tools for making it are finally mature — hence this blog.

I use an older Wacom Intuos 2 pad…
